Jeffrey Latimer has produced and managed live theatre, musical productions, TV and films, artists, and major events in North America for the past 20 years. Based in Toronto, Jeffrey Latimer Entertainment is set up to develop, create, produce, present and manage the best in artists, live entertainment, events, and TV and film.
Jeffrey’s first two theatrical productions, Closer Than Ever and Forever Plaid both won awards for Best Musical. Jeffrey’s success with Forever Plaid led to a two year run of I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change and the operation of the New Yorker Theatre for the next 11 years. Other projects as producer in Toronto, Vancouver and across Canada include sit-down and touring productions of Stomp, Forever Tango, Forever Swing (Michael Buble’s first commercial show), If You Ever Leave Me, I'm Going With You )starring Joseph Bologna and Renee Taylor), Grease, Just Between Friends (starring the legendary Bea Arthur), Evil Dead: The Musical, and many more. His current show, Evil Dead: The Musical, continues to play in cities and towns around the world.
Jeffrey was Director of Business Development for The Second City, launching their new theatre in Toronto, and continues to work with Just For Laughs on strategic partnerships.
Jeffrey currently manages JUNO Award winning Canadian vocal super group, The Tenors, with three Double Platinum albums, young pop-rock band Neverest, the amazing Lisa Ray, and JUNO Award winning soul singing sensation Sean Jones.
Jeffrey’s charity work is vast, including: Chairing The ONEXONE Foundation Gala headed by Matt Damon, the Community Outreach Board of the Sick Kids Foundation. He is currently the Chair of Free the Children’s WE Day Toronto, Chair of Ron White’s “White Knight Foundation”, and was the Co-Chair of both the 2010 and 2013 David Foster Foundation Toronto Gala with special guests Warren Buffet, Muhammad Ali, Earth Wind & Fire, and others, raising over $4 million in one night.
Over the past eight years Max has cultivated a companion business for JLE, outside of the core artist management and development model. Max has successfully managed and executed campaigns for Manulife, Honda, Nordstrom, The Horatio Alger Association and many others others. Max’s primary focus is client based initiatives and bridging the gap between corporate partners and artists.
From sponsorships, to original content production Max has engineered a trusted resource pool of industry proven collaborators to ensure that JLE can offer a wider range services to artists and corporate clients alike.
Hailing originally from Montreal, Max is also a fluent french speaker and excels at managing budgets and running the daily operations.
